Software studio · Vilnius, Lithuania
Wise Apps Lab is a small, senior-led studio. Clear scope, working software every week, and a codebase that belongs to you from the first commit.
Four kinds of work. If your project doesn't fit neatly into one of them, say so — we will tell you honestly whether we're the right people for it.
Dashboards, portals and internal tools built with Ruby on Rails and Hotwire. Solid, conventional architecture, tested where it matters, deployed on a pipeline you own.
Native-feeling iOS and Android apps built with Hotwire Native. Shared web codebase, real native navigation, and a release process that doesn't stall.
You have an idea and a deadline. We scope the smallest honest version of it, build it with Rails, and put it in front of real users before the budget disappears.
Inherited a Rails codebase that nobody wants to touch? We audit it, write down what we find, and fix the parts that block you from shipping.
Nothing here requires a signature until step three.
Step 1
Email or call us. Thirty minutes, no deck. We ask what you're building, who it's for and what happens if it's late.
Step 2
You get a short document: what we'd build first, what we'd deliberately leave out, a time range and a price range. Free, and yours to keep even if you walk away.
Step 3
Two weeks, fixed price, narrow goal. At the end you have running software and a clear read on whether you want to keep going with us.
Step 4
Weekly releases, a shared board, one direct channel. Scope changes are discussed before they're built, not invoiced afterwards.
Here is what we hold ourselves to. Hold us to it.
If we haven't solved something before, you hear it on the first call. An honest unknown is cheaper than a confident guess.
No month-long silences. Each week ends with something running that you can click, break and comment on.
No hand-off from a salesperson to an unknown team. The person on your call is the person writing the code.
Repository, infrastructure, accounts and documentation are yours from day one. Leaving us should be easy — that's the point.
We use AI tooling for tests, boilerplate and review passes because it's genuinely faster. Architecture and product decisions stay human.
We keep the studio small so you get senior attention instead of a layer of coordinators between you and the work.
Three shapes, all of them easy to stop. We quote after we understand the scope — no rate card that pretends every project is the same.

A second opinion
Days, not months
Boring, well-supported tools. We'd rather pick something your next hire already knows than something clever we'd have to explain.
We use AI tooling daily — for tests, boilerplate, migrations and review passes. Every line still gets read by an engineer before it ships, and architecture is decided by people. It makes us faster, not less careful.
It depends on scope, and we won't pretend otherwise. After the first conversation you get a written range with the assumptions behind it. If the number doesn't work for you, we'll say so early rather than pad the estimate.
The people you talk to. We're a small studio and we keep it that way deliberately — no hand-off to a team you've never met.
Yes. We can join your repository, your board and your standups, or work as a separate stream with a clear interface between us. Both work; we'll suggest which fits.
Write us a paragraph or call and talk it through. You'll get a straight answer about whether we're a fit, and a written scope if we are.
